Following news that a Malaysian Airline flight had been shot down, Jason Biggs Tweeted “Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?” Following this, the actor was berated by several Twitter (TWTR) users due to the subject of the Tweet. At first, Biggs insulted his followers for the criticism, but he later apologized for his Tweet, Daily Mail notes.

Here are a few of the Tweets that were sent in response to Jason Bigg’s Malaysian Airline Tweets.

  • “This just proves my thoughts about celebrities keeping their mouths shut regarding political and world issues. Idiots!”
  • “Just another loser seeking attention. #talentless #heartless #insensitive.”
  • “Do you people realize once the words come out your mouth you can’t take it back. Your apologies mean nothing.”
  • “What can we expect from a low grade actor. I bet if his family was in the plane, it wouldn’t be so funny.”
  • “Kind of a pattern for him.  He makes Insulting/insensitive comments then insults further then…..apologizes..maybe.”
