Camera Roll was spotted in the newest iOS 8.1 beta that was released to developers. The folder was seen in a list of changes that was included in the beta’s release notes. However, it’s unknown if the new version of Camera Roll will act like the old version or if it’s just a name attached to a new file, Product Review notes.

Camera Roll was a feature included in previous versions of Apple’s mobile operating system. It gave users a quick way to look at their photos stored on their devices. However, the company removed this feature in place of a “Recently Added” folder, reports Business Insider.

This change angered many Apple fans as the Recently Added folder was linked to iCloud, which made it hard to determine what images were on their devices and what was on the cloud. The system also became harder to use because of a change that sends deleted pictures to a “Recently Deleted” folder instead of deleting them, Business Insider notes.
