Apple posted an ad on its website saying that it was looking for an intern to help with the launch of Apple Pay in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa. The ad was only up for a short time before the company took it back down, reports The Guardian.

Here is a section of the text from the Apple Pay ad, as collected from The Guardian.

“Apple Pay is a new and exciting area in Apple that is set to expand across Europe, Middle East, India and Africa. Apple Pay will change the way consumers pay with breakthrough contactless payment technology and unique security features built right into their iPhone 6 or Apple Watch to pay in an easy, secure, and private way.”

The exact reason for the removal of the Apple Pay job listing is unknown. It could be that the position is filled or that the company never meant to post it in the first place. Business Insider notes that if the company is looking for an intern, then it likely already has a team for bringing Pay to Europe ready.

AAPL shares were up 1% as of Noon Thursday.
