This revelation was made during his testimony in the ongoing class action iPod lawsuit. He also backed up Apple’s claims that the strict standards on third-party music were a result of agreements with record labels.

iPhone: A huge demand for Apple’s iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is keeping supplies of the smartphones limited, AppleInsider notes. Investment firm Piper Jaffray released a research note of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus supplies that was based on store data. The research showed that while supplies of the smartphones are catching up with demand, they aren’t quire there yet. The current availability of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is sitting at 56%. It believed that Apple may reach 80% in its supplies by the end of the current quarter.

Pay: One app for iOS helps users know when they can use Apple Pay, reports BGR. Chameleon is an app that tells users what stores accept the company’s mobile-payment service. The app can tell when a user enters a store and will alert them if Pay can be used at the location. This is helpful as many stores don’t yet support the service. The app also awards users points for when they walk into stores. These points can be used to purchase gift cards for various stores. The app was first released in October.
