The Dish, CBS deal was reached following a blackout of the latter’s channels that lasted for 12 hours. As part of the agreement, the satellite provider has limited its AutoHop feature, which skips over commercials, to only being able to do so after after a CBS program has been available for seven days, The San Francisco Chronicle notes.

The CBS blackout resulted in 26 channels being pulled from Dish. The company was quick to end the blackout as it would have affected the viewing of several NFL football games that took place on Sunday, reports The Los Angeles Times.
