Nike Accuses 3 Former Employees of Stealing Trade Secrets

Nike (NKE) has accused three former employees of stealing trade secrets and sharing them with its biggest rival.

NikeThe company claims designers Denis Dekovic, Marc Dolce and Mark Miner used techniques developed internally and used it on a number of Adidas designs.

The lawsuit was filed in the Oregon county where Adidas’ headquarters are located. Nike is looking for more than $10 million in damages, claiming that the three workers who left the company used trade secrets to create a blueprint taken from Nike’s campus.

Innovation Kitchen is where most of Nike’s greatest creations are created. According to the company, Adidas used this intel to design products for the 2016 European Championships.

NKE stock is up 0.7% Wednesday afternoon.
