Thursday Apple Rumors: Possible iPad Pro Mold Image Leaked

apple-rumors-ipad-pro-mold-aaplPro: An image that is claimed to be of a mold for Apple’s (AAPL) rumored iPad Pro has been posted online, reports MacRumors. The image appears to come from one of the factories overseas that creates the tech company’s devices. The photo was uploaded and simply titled “iPad Pro”. It’s possible that it could indeed be a mold for the rumored 12-inch iPad, but it could also just be a mold for a mock up device. The exact size of the mold in the picture is unknown, but it does appear to be larger than an iPad Air.

Price: Apple will be increasing the price of apps in several areas, AppleInsider notes. The information of price changes comes from a message that was sent out to iTunes Connect members. According to the message, apps will be increasing in price for countries in the European Union, Norway and Canada. The note says that the change is being made to take into account “value-added tax (VAT) rates and foreign exchange rates. ” Russia will also being seeing price changes, but the note didn’t say if they would be an increase or decrease.

iPhone: A new rumors out of Japan claims that Apple’s iPhone 7 won’t be using an LCD display, reports BGR. According to the rumor, the tech company will switch to an OLED display for its rumored iPhone 7. The rumor claims that Foxconn, a supplier of Apple devices, is making preparations in its factories to switch to OLED displays. The rumor also claims that these new displays won’t just be used on the iPhone 7, but that they will also see use on the Apple Watch. Production of devices with OLED displays is rumored to start in late 2015.
