Here are your Apple Rumors for today:
iOS: Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) has released the fifth version of the iOS 8.2 beta to developers, reports MacRumors. The update can be downloaded by registered developers over the air or through the iOS Developer Center. The update fixes issues found in the Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) app and also appears to solve issues with the iOS 8’s calender. The iOS 8.2 beta update also includes Xcode 6.2 beta 5 with WatchKit, which allows developers to work on apps for the upcoming Apple Watch.
iPad: A new image may have just shown off Apple’s schematics for the rumored iPad Plus, BGR notes. The image shows what appears to be schematics for a larger iPad. It looks similar to the iPad Air 2, but has larger bezels around the display. The display itself is rumored to be 12.9 inches and there appear to be four speakers near the corners of the device. The source behind image claims that the device will have 2K resolution, a 11,000 mAh battery and will only be 7mm thick.
Biopic: The first images from the upcoming biopic about Apple founder Steve Jobs have appeared online, reports AppleInisder. The images show Michael Fassbender in the role of Jobs and Seth Rogen in the role of Steve Wozniak. The biopic is currently titled Steve Jobs and it’s believed that it will tell a behind-the scenes story of three of the company’s product launches. One of them is expected to be the launch of the iMac in 1998.
