Aperture: Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) has announced that it will be removing Aperture from the Mac App Store, reports MacRumors. The removal of Aperture from the Mac App Store will occur when the new Photos for OS X app is released. Developers first got a look at Photos for OS X when the OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 beta was released last week. Mac users that have bought Aperture can still download it after it has been removed from the store, but new users won’t have access to the app.

MacBook: Apple is preparing to launch its refreshed MacBook Airs, AppleInsider notes. The tech company has reportedly started ending restock shipments of certain MacBook Air models to resellers. It has also given several resellers the green light to lower the prices of the current models. Sharp price drops like those that have been seen on MacBook Airs recently typically indicate a new product is only weeks away. The company hasn’t announced when the new MacBook Air models will be released, but it will likely be in early 2015.

Solar: Apple has announced plans for a new solar farm in Monterey County, California, reports 9to5Mac. The new solar farm was announced by CEO Tim Cook at the Goldman Sachs Tech Conference 2015 on Tuesday. The solar farm will cost the company $850 million to create and will take up 1,600 acres of land. The tech company claims that this solar farm will produce enough energy to make up for all of its operations in California. This will include its retail locations and its upcoming Campus 2.
