Wednesday Apple Rumors: Apple May Not Release 4-Inch iPhone Until 2016

These customers have noted that they still have the delayed delivery dates on their orders, but that they’ve moved out of the “processing” stage and into the “preparing for shipment” stage. These customer have also been charged for the purchase of the device. This hasn’t spread to all customers with delayed wait times.

Preorders: A new rumor claims that the second wave of online Apple Watch preorders will start in May, AppleInsider notes. According to the rumor, Apple Stores located in Italy and other countries will be able to preorder the device starting on May 8. It’s possible that this could include up to 22 countries outside of those that were included in the wave-one preorders. It’s believed that Stores in these countries will have similar ways of showing off the Watch to customers as to what was done in the United States.

iPhone: One rumor claims that Apple won’t be releasing a 4-inch iPhone this year, reports MacRumors. The rumor claims that the tech company won’t be looking to release a low-end update to its smartphone line until sometime in 2016. This rumor comes from KGI Securities analysts Ming-Chi Kuo. Kuo claims that the iPhone 5c won’t reach the end of its life cycle until later this year. He also claims that the company will release the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in September and that the iPhone 5s will become the new entry-level device for the company at that time.
