Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) has issued a Halo 5 update.
The Xbox One game — released on Oct. 27, 2015 — has been boosting sales for the company’s prime gaming console. Here are five things to know about the Halo 5 update:
- There are new variants of previously existing weapons.
- There is a new playlist inside the Arena multiplayer option that holds all the new Big Team playlist.
- The Halo 5 update includes four new maps: Basin, Deadlock, Guillotine and Recurve.
- Change for certain controllers have been made, in addition to major changes to Warzone Assault.
- In the new Halo 5, you begin the game with only one grenade rather than multiple.
Halo 5: Guardians is $59.99 directly through the Xbox Store or GameStop for a basic copy. The update is free.
MSFT stock is up 0.17% Thursday
