Google Drive (NASDAQ:GOOG,NASDAQ:GOOGL) is offering 2 GB of storage for free today.
The tech giant is now making the offering an annual tradition in which its users are being offered extra space for their Google Drive storage unit in early February.
All users have to do is go through a brief account security checkup. Doing so will take less than a minute to review things like your two-step verification settings, account recovery information, and which apps have access to your Google account.
After you finish the survey, you will have two extra GBs of permanent Drive space.
GOOG stock is up 0.3% Tuesday. GOOGL stock is up 0.3%.
