Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) is rolling out its high-speed ethernet service in Atlanta.
The gigabit-speed internet is currently available as part of a trial program in the Atlanta area for the price of $70 a month for consumers who are willing to sign a contract. This price applies to users who sign a three-year contract with Comcast.
Although this deal gives you unlimited data, you must stick with the company unless you pay an early termination fee of $350. Alternately, you can pay $140 per month with a 300GB monthly data cap.
Additionally, being contract-free with an unlimited service will cost you an extra $35 a month, making the total price of Comcast’s high-speed Internet $175 a month.
Download speeds using the service can go up to 1 gigabit per second.
CMCSA stock is up 1% Wednesday.
