Pepsi 1893: PepsiCo, Inc. Rolls Out New Craft Soda

PepsiCo, Inc. (PEP) has introduced two new craft sodas under the Pepsi 1893 label.

Pepsi 1893, PepsiCo, PEPThe two new sodas being offered under the Pepsi 1893 label are “Original Cola” and “Ginger Cola”. The new colas are made of “kola nut extract, certified fair trade sugar, and sparkling water.” The drinks are sold in 12-ounce cans.

The Pepsi 1893 sodas are an homage back to the year of the company’s founding. However, it’s not PepsiCo’s first venture into craft sodas. It first released one in 2014 called Caleb Kola and has released others since, Eater notes.
