Google (NASDAQ:GOOG,NASDAQ:GOOGL) is ceasing production of its Nexus 9 tablets.
The company’s tablet never really caught on, making the device the latest of the company’s Nexus devices that failed to make an impact and were eventually discontinued by the company.
The Nexus 6 and Nexus players are among Google’s failures in the industry. As soon as the stock for Nexus 9 runs out, the company will no longer carry the product.
HTC — which manufactured the 9 — stopped building the tablet recently.
GOOG stock is down 0.2% Thursday and GOOGL stock is down 0.2%.
