Sears Holdings Corp (SHLD) has announced that it will be expanding its DieHard brand to include car tires.

Sears, DieHard, SHLD Stock

Sears will start selling DieHard Silver Touring All-Season tires at its 650 stores this summer. However, delays mean that some stores won’t have full inventories until August. It also plan to expand this to include tires for trucks and other vehicles.

Sears hasn’t said who the tires will be made by and the different types will likely have different makers. Prices for the company’s DieHard car tires will range from $63 to $149. A survey from last year found customers rating DieHard brand as third best for tires last year, despite them not being made yet, reports The Wall Street Journal.

“Our engineering team worked directly with the manufacturer with our specifications and the design that we wanted,” Tom Park, President of the Kenmore, Craftsman and DieHard Brands Division of Sears, told Modern Tire Dealer.

SHLD shares were up 1% as of Tuesday afternoon.
