The Kickstarter items are listed in the company’s Amazon Launchpad section, which has been around for roughly one year.

Customers that visit the Kickstarter Collection on Amazon can search through a variety of different item types. This includes the company’s Electronics, Wireless Accessories, Home & Kitchen, Books, Movies & TV and Toys & Games sections.

The Amazon Kickstarter Collection also includes different themes to help customers narrow their search for items. These themes include STEM Products, Always Be Learning, Exquisite Objects, Inventing The Future and Public Benefit.

“Working with Kickstarter is a great way for us to hear directly from customers what products they care about, since they truly hold the power to bring these products to life,” Jim Adkins, Vice President at Amazon, said in a statement. “We created the Amazon Launchpad program a year ago to serve creators, inventors, and startups. Our goal is to enable them to reach Amazon’s hundreds of millions of customers and to overcome one of the biggest challenges any startup faces – bringing their product to market successfully.”

Kickstarter is a crowd-sourcing service that allows users to “back” items and help them reach their funding goals. The site has seen the successful launch of several items, such as the Pebble smartwatch, a $9 computer named CHIP and various other gadgets.
