Sony (NYSE:SNE) has released its monthly selection of PlayStation Plus free games.
August will feature six games, which is the same number of games Sony offers on any given month with the subscription service PlayStation Plus. Here’s what you need to know about each game:
- Tricky Towers, PS4: This game is similar to Tetris, consisting of building towers with blocks and physics with special abilities. Check out a brief piece of gameplay from Tricky Towers:
- Rebel Galaxy, PS4: The space trading and combat simulation game is a game that requires awareness of your surroundings as it can be hard to determine if a character is a friend or a foe. Check out a review on the game, with gameplay
- Yakuza 5, PS3: The open world action-adventure game can be played in Combat or Adventure Mode and you get to battle gangsters from Japan. Check out some gameplay:
- Retro/Grade, PS3: Retro/Grade is a game where you are an ace pilot who must repeat his last space battle in order to save the universe. Check out some gameplay:
- Patapon 3, PS Vita: Rhythm game Patapon 3 consists on the Patapons having to stop the Seven Archfiends, with the purpose of bringing Patapons’ search for Earthend. They face enemies and other problems on the way to their goal. Here’s some gameplay:
- Ultratron, PS Vita, PS3, PS4: This old-school, arcade favorite is available in several different consoles, including the PS3. Check out some gameplay below:
