A video of the singer commenting on the Super Bowl rumor was posted to YouTube over the weekend. It comes from her recent concert on Aug. 13 in Los Angeles, Calif. In the video, she claims an offer was made, but that she turned it down.

According to Adele, she turned down the Super Bowl Half-Time show offer because it’s “not about music.” The singer went on to say that she “can’t dance or anything like that,” but said the those behind the offer were nice about the whole thing. She apologized and said “maybe next time.”

The NFL and PepsiCo, Inc. (NYSE:PEP) told Billboard a different story about the Super Bowl offer that Adele allegedly rejected.

“The NFL and Pepsi are big fans of Adele. We have had conversations with several artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, we have not at this point extended a formal offer to Adele or anyone else. We are focused on putting together a fantastic show for Houston and we look forward to revealing that in good time.”

The 2017 Super Bowl will be held at Houston’s NRG Stadium. It will take place on Feb. 5, 2017.

Adele also addressed another rumor in the video at her recent concert. She told fans that attended the show that she wasn’t pregnant. She seemed confused by the rumor and said “of course I’m not pregnant.”
