Here are your Apple Rumors for today:

Apple Rumors, iPhone 7, Gorilla Glass 5, AAPLMac: A new rumor claims that Apple’s (AAPL) next-generation MacBook will have Touch ID built into the power button, reports 9to5Mac. This same rumor claims that the next MacBook will also have an OLED touch screen bar that will replace the function keys. The power button is located in the same line with the function buttons on current MacBooks. This could mean that the OLED touch screen will be used for Touch ID when users press the power button.

Home: Yet another report claims that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 7 won’t have a physical Home button, AppleInsider notes. According to this report, the iPhone 7 will be getting rid of the physical Home button in favor of one that works with haptic feedback. This could allow the company to create a smartphone that is slightly thinner than current versions. It also means that the device will work in a similar way to the Force Touch trackpad that newer MacBooks come with. The haptic feedback could still give a click feeling when pressing on the screen without the need of a mechanical button.

Black: More leaks point to a Space Black version of the iPhone 7 being released, reports BGR. Over the weekend, one person released three different photos pointing to a Space Black iPhone 7. One photo showed a rear casing for the smartphone in the color. Another of the photos showed a SIM Card tray in Space Black and the last was a Space Black mute button. The same person behind these leaks also claimed that Apple’s iPhone 7 won’t come equipped with Corning Incorporated’s (NYSE:GLW) new Gorilla Glass 5 display.
