Pizza Hut, Inc. — owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE:YUM) — is now selling pizza inside a DJ box.

Pizza HutThe company is combining two of the most popular treats in the world — music and pizza — to boost sales in the UK. Much like a regular pizza box, the DJ box is made of cardboard that is tricked out with buttons that you can use with your fingers.

The device was created by Novalia, a UK-based company that excels in combining digital platforms with touch-based technology. You can use the Pizza Hut box to scratch, rewind and even alter the pitch of the tune you are creating.

The DJ box has Bluetooth capabilities that link to your computer or mobile device, allowing you to combine your favorite songs with your remixing talents. Some software even works with the gadget, such as Serato DJ.

The move comes at a time when a large chunk of pop music and festivals around the world feature electronic sounds, with DJs leading the pack as the rock stars of the 2010s.

Pizza Hut has integrated cutting-edge technological functionalities to its products recently, including a menu that allows you to order your favorite pizza using only emojis.

Additionally, a robot cashier was launched in some of the chain’s stores, taking your order, accepting payments and even greeting you with hand gestures.

Meanwhile, rival chain Domino’s Pizza, Inc. (NYSE:DPZ) is also combining the digital world with the pizza industry by rolling out online bots that allow you to order food via social media.

YUM stock is up 0.2% Wednesday. DPZ shares rose 0.4% today.
