- The public Wi-Fi service is currently available at 52 train stations in India.
- There are already plans in place to increase the number of train stations that offer the Wi-Fi to 100.
- 15,000 people in India use the Wi-Fi every morning as their first connection to the internet.
- There are 3.5 million people in India that use the service every month.
- Partners that sign up for Google Station can monetize it.
- This includes requiring users to pay an access fee, or viewing advertisements.
- However, locations that don’t want to charge visitors for the service can offer it for free.
