Nike self-lacing sneakers (NYSE:NKE) are slated to be released in less than two-and-a-half months.

The HyperAdapt 1.0 were first introduced in Back tot he Future II, and now they are a reality. Additionally, this product is more complete and practical than the hoverboards introduced in the same film series.

In order to get a pair of these Nike self-lacing sneakers, you will have to wait until Nov. 28, or the Monday after Thanksgiving. The HyperAdapt 1.0 will be available at select Nike retail locations.

Nike PR director Heidi Burgett said that getting a pair may be quite difficult as you will need to make an appointment ahead of time in order to simply have the opportunity to “experience and purchase” the footwear.

The pair is powered by a battery and you will need to charge the shoes in order to get the self-lacing effect out of them. A magnetic adapter can charge the items, requiring three hours to charging them fully.

Once you charge them, they will last up to two weeks. The Nike self-lacing sneakers can be adjusted by pressing a “+” button to tighten and a “-” button to loosen.

Lights will indicate the product’s battery life, with blue meaning a full charge, yellow meaning it has a few days left, and red requires a charge right away.

The price of the HyperAdapt 1.0 has yet to be announced but it will be relatively high compared to other Nike sneakers.

NKE stock is down 0.2% Wednesday.
