iOS 10.0.3: Apple has officially released iOS 10.0.3 to the public, reports MacRumors. The release of iOS 10.0.3 is a small one that is designed to fix issues that have been discovered with the operating system following its release. The major bug fix present in this update is for iPhone 7 owners on Verizon Communications Inc.’s (NYSE:VZ) network. The release fixes an issue that was causing connectivity errors for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus owners on that network.

Project Titan: AAPL is moving away from making its own car with Project Titian, Bloomberg notes. The publication spoke with insider sources that claim the company has laid off or moved hundreds of employees that were connected to the car effort. It claims that AAPL is no longer interested in making its own car, but that it now wants to create a self-driving system that can be used by car manufacturers. The unnamed sources claim the Project Titan team has been given one year to provide proof that it can create such a system.

Galaxy Note 7: One analysts believes Apple will gain millions of customers due to the problems with the Galaxy Note 7, reports BGR. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that between 5 million and 7 million customer will buy an iPhone 7 following Samsung Electronic KRW5000’s (OTCMKTS:SSNLF) misstep with the Galaxy Note 7. This would be bad news for SSNLF, but would provide AAPL with a gateway to convert users of Alphabet Inc’s (NASDAQ:GOOG,GOOGL) Android mobile operating system over to iOS.
