The 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — ran by L Brands Inc (NYSE:LB) — is a little over a month away.
Here are six things to know about the event:
- It will take place in Paris on December 5, 2016. The 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will air on CBS at 10 pm ET.
- One of the most talked about items of the night will be the Bright Night Fantasy Bra, which was unveiled Monday.
- The extravagant creation is worth $3 million dollars and it consists of more than 9,000 precious gems, totaling more than 450 carats and it required more than 700 hours to make. Jewelry designer Eddie Borgo created it and assembled it by hand. In case you’re wondering, the Fantasy Bra is worth about $3 million.
- The lucky Angel who will wear this piece at the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is Jasmine Tookes, a 25-year-old model.
- Bella Hadid teased the event with an Instagram image of her wearing a bra and panties, with camo pants around her ankles (NSFW). The image included the hashtags #proud #blessed #worlddomination.
- Bella will definitely be there but it is unclear if her sister Gigi, or other models such as Kendall Jenner will make it. Models that will definitely be there include Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Elsa Hosk, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell, and Taylor Hill.
LB shares slipped 0.1% Wednesday.
