Today, Nov. 3, 2016, is National Sandwich Day and Subway is offering customers a free sub.
To get the free Subway sandwich on National Sandwich Day, customers will have to first order a sub and drink. After that, they get a second sandwich of equal or lesser value for free. Subway will also donate one meal to Feeding America for each meal purchased as part of its The Good Deed Feed effort.
The buy one, get one free deal is only available today. It is also only available at participating Subway locations. Subway says that there is no limit to the number of meals that it will donate today. It wants to donate at least 11 million meals to Feeding America.
“One in eight Americans are going hungry, and we’re in the business of feeding people,” said Suzann Greco, President and CEO of Subway, said in a statement. “Many of our franchisees have been committed to fighting hunger in their communities for years, and we’re proud of The Good Deed Feed and the impact it will have on a national level.”
