Motorola Beaten Down by Apple iPhone

Immediately following Apple’s (AAPL) original announcement of the iPhone back in January 2007, a ChangeWave survey found "Motorola (MOT; 24%) taking the biggest hit-falling a whopping 9 pts. among planned purchasers to its lowest level of the past 18 months."

This illustrates that while the original Apple iPhone has sent ripples through the entire cellular industry (see also, “Apple Ups the Ante With 3G iPhone“) no other company has been as adversely affected as Motorola.
