The SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSE: SPY) Weekly is busy with the SPY JunWK 131 Put trading 127,000 options, down .21 to .15, followed by the SPY JunWK 130 Put trading 89,000 contracts down .15 to .02.

Financial Select SPDR (NYSE: XLF) sees its XLF Jun 15 Put trade down .06 to .10 on 53,000 contracts.

The iShares Russell 2000 ETF (NYSE: IWM) trades about 45,000 contracts in each of two contracts. The IWM JunWeekly 81 Put is down .13 to .08 while the IWM Jul 80 Put is up .02 to 1.95.

Stocks/Underlying – Big Daily Change in Option Volume

Resolute Energy (NYSE: REN) trades more than 5,000 options as the stock drops .09 to 16.80. OptionMONSTER reports a block that size of Dec 12.5 puts sold for 20 cents.

Exco Resources (NYSE: XCO) trades more than 25,000 options contracts, a rise of more than 1100% compared with a typical day. XCO is down .50 to 19.55.

Homebuilder D.R. Horton (NYSE: DHI) trades nearly 42,000 options as the stock rises a mild .05 to 11.76.

Stocks/Underlying – High Option Volume

Top equity is Bank of America (NYSE: BAC), trading 329,593 options as stock rises .10 to 11.39.

The iShares Russell 2000 ETF (NYSE: IWM) sees options volume of more than half a million contracts as it drops .64 to 81.44.

The SPDR S&P 500 (NYSE: SPY) has option volume of nearly 1.5 million, as it trades down .51 to 131.22. The Standard & Poor’s Index Options (CBOE: SPX) is down 4.97 to 1307.97 on nearly 400,000 contracts.

The CBOE Volatility Index (CBOE: VIX) is down .85 to 17.24 with 182,000 options traded against the index.

PowerShares QQQ Trust (NASDAQ: QQQ) trades more than 225,000 options as it falls .40 to 56.82.
