Gold prices reached a high of $1,584 and a low of $1,567.80. Gold bullion ended trading at $1,584 per ounce for Tuesday’s trading session in London, according to BullionVault.

Analysts say the weakening euro may benefit the price of gold. However, the strengthening of the U.S. dollar is said to have the opposite effect.
