Dunkin BrandsDunkin Brands’ (DNKN) Dunkin’ Doughnuts is changing up its appearance in what is likely an effort to attract crowds all day.

The redesign of Dunkin’ Doughnuts leaves the restaurant with a more sophisticated look and feel, while still keeping the brands orange and pink color scheme.

“The hottest trend in the restaurant business right now is fast casual,” Harry Balzer, chief industry analyst at market research firm the NPD Group, told CNBC.

Dunkin’ Doughnuts franchise owners can choose from four different designs, named Original Blend, Cappuccino Blend, Dark Roast and Jazz Brew, when updating their stores.

The changes come in a time when fast food chains are trying to emulate the success of brands like Panera Bread (PNRA), Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG) and Starbucks (SBUX), reports CNBC.

McDonald’s (MCD), Wendy’s (WEN), and Burger King all saw an increase in sales (albeit temporary) after undergoing a redesign, reports CNBC.
