Microsoft (MSFT) is falling behind with its Xbox One sales despite the console’s stellar first-day performance.

The Sony (SNE

) PlayStation 4 has been out for longer than the Xbox One but that doesn’t hide how poorly Microsoft’s console has been doing. Xbox One sales surpassed the 1 million-mark on the console’s release day and over 2 million have been sold to date. However, the Microsoft product is still struggling to sell on eBay the way the PlayStation 4 is.

The Xbox One is now being outself by the Sony console at a 2:1 ratio but that number could be skewed by inflated holiday season numbers. Nevertheless, all reports indicate that Xbox One sales have slowed down while PS4 sales continue to pick up.

MSFT is up 1.26% in mid-trading Tuesday afternoon.
