The Google (GOOG) Nexus 6, a rumored smartphone being made by Motorola, may launch on or near Halloween as the Nexus X.
The newest rumors surrounding the Google Nexus 6, now being called the Nexus X, come from a possible Best Buy (BBY
) listing of the device. According to the leaked Best Buy listing, the Nexus X will be available on Sprint (S) networks for $500 with a two-year contract, reports NDTV.
The Best Buy listing for the Nexus X claims that the device has a 5.9-inch Quad-HD display that has a resolution of 1440×2560, a 2.7GHz quad-core processor and the Android L operating system. Another rumor that claims that the rumored smartphone will be getting a secret release on or around Halloween, NDTV notes.
Google Nexus devices are expected to get an Andoird L update sometime in October. This falls in line with the rumored Nexus X release and previous releases of Nexus devices.
