HBO Now was launched today on Apple (AAPL) devices.
The HBO standalone streaming service is free for the month of April and it will cost $14.99 a month beyond that. It is a free download on the App Store at the moment.
HBO Now offers on-demand content from the channel that can be accessed anywhere. This includes old HBO series and shows currently airing.
The HBO Now launch comes a few days before the release of Game of Thrones season 5. You can watch the trailer for that here.
