A DVR feature is reportedly coming to Microsoft Corporation’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Xbox One.
The DVR feature for the Xbox One was mentioned by blogger Paul Thurrott. He claims that the new feature could come out sometime this year. The Xbox One currently limits users to only watching live TV, reports GameSpot.
According to GameSpot, the DVR feature may be added to the Xbox One to make up for the lack of Windows Media Center on Windows 10. Microsoft was asked about the rumor of a TV recording feature coming to its video game console, but refused to comment on the matter.
Microsoft’s Xbox One currently supports TV tuners in North America and Europe. This likely means that the potential release of a DVR feature for the console would be limited to these areas, reports The Verge.
