School: Apple (AAPL) has launched its Back to School program for 2015, reports MacRumors. This year’s Back to School program from the tech company will give eligible students a free pair of Beats Solo2 On-Ear headphones with the purchase of select Macs. The Macs that will include the headphones are the iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and Mac Pro. AAPL will add $199.95 of credit to cover the headphones and another $100 can be used to upgrade to the wireless version in gold or silver for $100, which would take up the remainder of the credit.

Charger: A new third-party charging cable is looking to solve Apple owners’ storage problems, BGR notes. The new charging cable is called the MemoriesCable and it’s created by PhotoFast. The cable works with any device that uses a lightning charger and also acts as a storage device. It will include storage options of 64GB and 128GB. The device will work with a free app that can be downloaded from the App Store that allows users to access the storage on their iOS devices. The charging/storage cable hasn’t been released yet and a price hasn’t been announced.

Mac: A new rumor claims that Apple is looking to increase Mac orders in the second half of 2015, reports AppleInsider. This rumor is claimed to have come from someone that works in the supply chain that AAPL uses for its products. However, DigiTimes, the source of the rumor, has a spotty track record when it comes to the tech company. It’s possible that this rumor could be true and that the company is working on a new Mac that will be released later this year, or it could be that it expects Mac sales to pick up for another reason.
