SBS leads utilities stocks higher on Wednesday

Utilities stocks remained flat so far on Wednesday on Wall Street.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.8%, the Nasdaq climbed 0.9% and the S&P 500 pushed 0.8% higher.

  • Covanta Holding Corp (CVA): CVA stock is up 0.8% today.
  • Northwest Natural Gas Company (NWN): NWN stock is up 0.7% today.
  • Energy Transfer Equity LP (ETE): ETE stock is up 0.6% today.
  • Exelon Corp (EXC): EXC stock is up 0.4% today.
  • Calpine Corp (CPN): CPN stock is up 0.6% today.
  • Transalta Corp (TAC): TAC stock is up 0.5% today.

  • Uil Holdings Corp (UIL): UIL stock is down 1.7% today.
  • Crestwood Midstream Partners LP (CMLP): CMLP stock is down 1.4% today.
  • Comp En De Mn Cemig Ads (CIG): CIG stock is down 0.3% today.
  • Targa Resources (TRGP): TRGP stock is down 0.7% today.
  • Boardwalk Pipeline Partners L.P. (BWP): BWP stock is down 0.6%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
  • Enlink Midstream Partners LP (ENLK): ENLK stock is down 1.1% today.
