Kraft Heinz (KHC) has announced an Oscar Meyer turkey bacon recall for more than 2 million pounds of the product.
The Oscar Meyer turkey bacon recall was issue due to possibly adulterated products that can spoil before the “Best When Used By” date on the packages. The affected products have been sold in the United States, Bahamas and St. Martin.
Here is a list of the affected products in the Oscar Meyer turkey bacon recall.
- 56 oz. cardboard boxes of Oscar Mayer “Selects Uncured Turkey Bacon.”
- 36 oz. cardboard boxes of Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon “Smoked Cured Turkey Chopped and Formed.”
- 48 oz. cardboard boxes of Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon “Smoked Cured Turkey Chopped and Formed.”
The affected Oscar Meyer products in the turkey bacon recall bear an establishment number of “P-9070” and a line number of “RS19.” The possibility of the products spoiling early was discovered following in investigation into complaints from people who had become sick after eating the turkey bacon.
