Fix: Apple (AAPL) has fixed its App Thinning feature with the release of iOS 9.0.2, reports BGR. App Thinning is a new feature for iOS that allows owners of the tech company’s devices to save space by ignoring elements of apps that don’t apply to them. This means that users downloading an app for their smartphone won’t have to store the extra files needed for the iPad version of the app as well. It also makes it so that users downloading apps on older devices won’t download parts of apps that only work with newer devices. Developers only have to worry about uploading one version of their apps to the App Store as Apple will handle the rest.

Beta: Apple has released the fourth beta of iOS 9.1 to developers, AppleInsider notes. The new beta can be downloaded from the company’s developer website or via a device’s iOS Settings. The new update to the mobile operating system will include support for Unicode 8 and will add several new emojis to the device. The third version of the beta was released last week. It’s unknown when exactly the new version of iOS 9 will be released to the public.

Reserve: Apple is accepting reservations for the iPhone 6s launch in other countries, reports MacRumors. While the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are already available in the United States and other countries, there are still others that haven’t gotten the new smartphones yet. However, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands are all going to see the device released on October 9, which is this Friday.
