Audio: Rumor has it that Apple is working to bring high-resolution audio to iTunes, reports 9to5Mac. This rumor claims that AAPL will work to bring high-resolution audio to iTunes sometime next year. It’s claimed that the audio in the rumor will be streamed at 96kHz/24-bit, which is above the 44kHz/16-bit that CDs provide. It’s believed that this high-resolution audio would be listened to via headphones that use the company’s Lightning port over the 3.5MM headphone jack.
