apple-rumors-holograms-aapliOS: Apple (AAPL) has released the first public beta of iOS 9.2.1 to testers, reports MacRumors. The new beta is available as an over-the-air update to those that have signed up for beta access. It comes out just one day after the tech company released its developer version of its new mobile operating system beta. The developer version appears to mainly focus on bug fixes, which could be a sign that this update will be a small one.

Beta: Apple is now allowing developers to download the first OS X 10.11.3 El Capitan beta, AppleInsider notes. This new beta can be downloaded by developers via the Mac App Store or the company’s developer portal. This new beta has a build model of 15D9c and its unknown exactly what changes it will bring to AAPL’s operating system. More details will likely become available in the second beta release. The beta will include security updates and fixes to bugs.

Display: More rumors are still coming out involving Apple’s secret display factory in Taiwan, reports BGR. This new rumor claims that the facility is being used to develop micro-LED displays that wouldn’t put as much stress on mobile devices’ batteries. It also claims that these screens would have the ability to project holograms that could bee seen without any special glasses. These screens could also possibly allow for virtual reality experiences.
