Air France KLM SA (ADR) (AFLYY) pilots have called off a strike caused by wage issues.

Air France, Strike

Air France pilots will no longer be going on strike from June 24 through 27 due to plans from the company to decrease their wages. The strike was cancelled after members of management announced it wouldn’t reduce the pilots’ wages.

The Air France pilots that were going to be part of the strike represented three different unions. Members of these unions make up the majority of pilots employed by the company. A previous strike from June 11 to June 14 cost the company $45 million, reports MarketWatch.

The proposed pay drop from Air France would’ve had it reducing its employees’ salaries by 5%. The union members that planned to go on strike over the issue accounted for 65% of pilots working for the company.
