The nondisclosure clause was the subject of a complaint from one Tesla Model S owner. He claimed that it was to keep him from contacting the NHTSA about issues with the car. Regulators called the nondisclosure clause “troublesome.”

TSLA revised its nondisclosure clause so that it would be clear that it wasn’t trying to keep customers from voicing complaints about it vehicles. Complaints about the document were raised by a Model S owners that had a broken suspension, reports MarketWatch.

Tesla released a blog post last week denying claims from the customer that there were safety issues with its suspensions. It said that complaints from this Model S owner should be taken with a grain of salt.
