Urban Outfitters, Inc. (NASDAQ:URBN) is selling the Nintendo NES Classic Edition online as part of a flash sale.
You can buy the console on Tuesday on the company’s website. The Nintendo NES Classic Edition is a remake of the original Nintendo console, but this version retails for $60 and it comes with one controller and 30 of the best games from the late 1980s and early 1990s.
The original release of the console began on Nov. 11 and it sold out very quickly with every major retailer selling out within days. Now, you have the opportunity to get it if you weren’t able to get it before thanks to Urban Outfitters.
The video game company announced that the Nintendo NES Classic Edition will be released again throughout the holiday season and into next year due to the ongoing demand for the product. The product can only be found online, where it retails for $60.
Some sellers are listing the product online for $200 and even more than that due to the limited amount of these consoles that exist. Toys ‘R’ Us is among the companies that will continue selling the console, as it will be part of the company’s Big Christmas Sale, which will run on Sunday, Dec. 4 and run through Saturday, Dec. 10.
If the console doesn’t sell out on Urban Outfitters today, you will be able to get it over the coming days.
URBN shares fell 0.4% Tuesday.
