Project Titan: A new video may show off Apple’s current work on Project Titan, reports AppleInsider. The video gives viewers a look at a car that is equipped with several cameras on top of it. The whole system is enclosed in white plastic and is likely for autonomous driving. Rumors claim that Project Titan was originally an effort by AAPL to enter the car market. However, the plan didn’t turn out as well as expected. Recent rumors claim that the tech company is now focusing on software and hardware for self-driving cars.
Apple and GE: Apple is working together with General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) to create new iOS apps. An announcement from the two companies say that they want to help create industrial iOS apps. As a result, a new Predix software development kit is being released. This will allow developers to create apps that work with Predix, which is GE’s Internet of Things platform. Developers will be able to download the new software development kit on Oct. 26, 2017.
macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 Beta: Developers can now download the third macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 beta, MacRumors notes. Developers can update to this new beta via the Mac App Store or from the company’s Developer Center. The beta gives developers a look at some of the new features that will come out with its final release. This includes new emojis, the APFS file system and more. A public version of the beta will likely come out in the next couple of days.
