Miranda Fugate, who was hit in the head with a shovel, is not dead.

A fake news report claiming that Miranda Fugate had died from injuries she obtained in the Vine video “Shovel Fight Girl” was made by Huzlers.com. Huzlers.com is a satirical news website that often starts death hoaxes, reports International Business Times.

Miranda Fugate Fugate learned about the rumors of her death and took to Twitter (TWTR) to debunk them. A Tweet from Fugate reads “I’m not dead.. Idk why there’s rumors saying I am.” Josh Officer, who posted the video of Fugate getting hit in the head with a shovel, has released a video saying that she isn’t dead, reports International Business Times.

Another video of Miranda Fugate was posted after the original that showed

she wasn’t suffering from a severe concussion and that she is alive and well. She even jokes in the video that she could use another shovel.
