Fans of the popular Elder Scrolls series will have to wait a little longer for The Elder Scrolls Online on PS4 and Xbox One.

Developer Bethesda Softworks has confirmed an ongoing rumor regarding the game’s release date. The company said that finishing The Elder Scrolls Online in time has been a “challenging process” and the game will be delayed on the Microsoft (MSFT) and Sony (SNE) consoles by “about six months.”
A Bethesda spokesperson said that the company is still trying to solve several issues specific to PS4 and Xbox One. The Elder Scrolls Online was originally slated for a June release date but the developer has said that six more months are necessary to give fans the experience they “expect and deserve.”
