The product recently received some updates

• Google has opened a Google Cardboard section in its Play store, offering apps and games compatible for the device.
• The tech giant is also releasing a software development kit for developers to design apps for Cardboard.
• The headset sells for $20 to $25 online.
• Google Cardboard has sold more than 500,000 units since its June release.

GOOG stock is down 0.21% Monday afternoon.
