General Mills (GIS) has issued a Cheerios recall on select products that claim to be gluten free, but aren’t.
The Cheerios recall includes the normal cereal found in yellow boxes and the Honey Nut variety. General Mills said that wheat was accidentally introduced into the cereals during their creation at its plant located in Lodi, Calif.

General Mills is working to pull the Cheerios products affected by the gluten-free recall from store shelves and warehouses. It advises anyone with allergies to wheat to not consume the products listed above.
