Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) Black Friday deals for 2016 are launching today.
The e-commerce site has announced that starting today — November 1st — Halloween is no longer the holiday at hand as we’re in the month of Thanksgiving. The Amazon sales event is called “Countdown to Black Friday” and they are a series of top deals that will keep coming as we approach the turkey feasting event and begin holiday shopping for Christmas.
The company has a page called Lightning Deals which has always been around, and these are different from Amazon’s sales so make sure you look around and figure out what the real holiday offerings are.
Here are some of the best ones around as of today:
- Deal of the Day: LG Electronics 55EG9100 55-Inch OLED TV for only $999.99, marking a discount of nearly $500 compared to its original price of $1,488.
- Lovers of books will be happy to hear that Amazon has implemented a $20 discount to a 2016 Kindle Paperwhite, which is now $99.99.
- The 2016 Kindle is also $20 cheaper at $59.99.
- The Kindle Voyage has received a $20 discount as well, retailing for $179.99.
- One item that is retailing for less than a third of its original price is the Anker 60W/12A 6-Port USB Charger PowerPort 6 for $25.49, which originally retails for $79.99.
- The Anker PowerLine Micro USB (5-pack) is also quite cheap at $12.99, compared to its regular price of $49.99.
- Roku Streaming Sticks are $10 cheaper at $39.99 as we enter the holiday season.
AMZN shares have dipped 0.6% Tuesday.
