Man Makes Billions Recycling Discarded Bakery Garbage

meyer luskin Man Makes Billions Recycling Discarded Bakery GarbageA man in Los Angeles has — for many years — been turning stale baked goods into billions of dollars.

Billionaire Meyer Luskin is the owner of Scope Industries and he makes his money on recycling stale bread, bagels and other foods, reports Celebrity Networth.

Luskin’s business provides bakeries with a trash-compacting process that decreases the size of the waste. Then Scope picks up that waste — which is no longer considered fit for human consumptions — and turns it into premium feed for farm animals. In all, the business generates more than $100 million per year in revenues.

Meyer Luskin is thankful for his riches, too. He recently donated $100 million to his alma mater, UCLA, to establish the Luskin Center for Innovation and the Meyer and Renee Luskin School of Public Affairs.
